THANK YOU to all staff at Chifley Wollongong for making our special day truly memorable. We would particularly like to thank Amanda, Duty Manager, who has been inspired & heartened by our Love Story of being 1st Highschool Sweethearts in the mid-1970′s. We fell out of contact in the early ’80′s. In 2009, 28years later, Facebook re-connected us & we began to re-build our relationship.
Neil & I have stayed with Chifley Wollongong on a number of occasions. We have experienced the Chifley Wollongong as impeccable, with friendly helpful staff – nothing has been a problem.
Our choice to be married in the Chifley Suite was to create an intimate ceremony for family & friends, overlooking the ocean, followed by a luncheon in the Suite. The food selection & variety was perfect and presented beautifully. Thank you to the Chef & staff.
It was a very relaxed afternoon with lots of laughter.
The Chifley Wollongong staff invited us to have photos taken in the Lobby. We then went for a short drive to the Lighthouse to have photos at sunset.
Thank You to Sandi, Events & Conference Coordinator, who assisted us to organize our wedding from interstate. All discussions & planning was organized by phone & email. It all came together beautifully.
We are continuing on with Chifley Wollongong, for the beginning of our honeymoon as we are staying till the end of this week.
